What type of planet is Venus?
By Forinfos - 14/08/2025 - 0 comments
Venus is a terrestrial planet, meaning that its composition includes a core and crust. Like other terrestrial planets in the solar system, Venus is an inner planet with warm temperatures.
Venus shares other attributes with terrestrial planets, such as a limited number of moons and no rings. The inner structure of the planet is much like Earth, and it has three layers, including a mantle. However, there are no plate tectonics on Venus. Rocky land formations include craters, mountains and cliffs, and the surface consists of one piece of land. Other terrestrial planets in the solar system include Earth, Mars and Mercury.
