Each TCF Checking account requires a minimum opening deposit, the value of which ranges from $25 to $500 depending on the account type. TCF Premier Checking typically requires a monthly maintenance fee of $15 when the account does not maintain a minimum balance of $2,500. The premier checking account offers certain benefits, such as free checks, interest and four free money orders per day.
