Melanie Lyne's 2015 Spring and Summer collection lists three types of dresses on her website, melanielyne.com: occasion dresses, cocktail dresses and day dresses. Many different styles can be found within each of these categories and vary by cut, length, material, neckline and pattern.

Most of Melanie Lyne's 2015 occasion dresses are ankle-length gowns that are designed for formal occasions and black tie events. Her cocktail dress and day dress designs are similar in the types of materials and cut and include hundreds of combinations featuring lace, knits, halter tops, capped sleeves and belted waists. The vast majority are knee-length; however, full-length maxi dresses are also available.
