What types of games are available featuring Sonic vs. Mario?

As of May 2015, Sonic and Mario compete in Olympic games and as fighters in the "Super Smash Bros." series. The first crossover game featuring the two was "Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games," released for the Nintendo Wii and DS in 2007.

The Olympic series has had three further releases to date: "Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games," "Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games" and "Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games."

Sonic was also added to the character roster of the "Super Smash Bros." series starting with "Super Smash Bros. Brawl" for the Nintendo Wii.
