Nursing scenarios include simulations of damage to various organs of the body. Other scenarios include a simulation of a Code Blue, an event in a hospital in which a patient is admitted with no vital signs and needs to be revived.

Nursing scenarios are educational tools designed to mimic common issues nurses may encounter while on the job. Scenarios usually contain documents describing the patient who is the subject of the scenario and the issue being simulated. Supplementary documents such as patient charts and scripts may also be included. Some scenarios also have additional video and audio material to help students visualize the issue at hand.
