What is the typical mounting height for pot fillers?

Pot fillers can be mounted at different heights, but the average is 12 to 14 inches above the stove. To find the minimum height for a kitchen, measure the height of the tallest pot from the counter top to the top of the burner and add one inch for clearance.
A pot filler is a faucet installed above a stove range used to fill large pots and kettles. Originally designed for commercial kitchens, they are becoming more common in custom kitchens to eliminate the need to carry water-filled pots to the stove, which can weigh as much as 20 pounds.
