How do you take the U.S. citizenship test?
By Forinfos - 01/11/2025 - 0 comments
The U.S. citizenship test is taken during the naturalization interview. This includes questions about the application, background, and a separate English and civics test, which the applicant has the opportunity to take twice if needed.
The test taker is given two opportunities to take the English and civics test and to answer all questions related to the naturalization application. If the applicant fails to pass these tests at the initial interview, they are retested on the failed portions. The retest takes place within 60 to 90 days from the initial interview. There are exceptions and modifications to the requirements, which are available to those who qualify.
