What are the UL ratings for firewall assemblies?

Firewall assemblies with a UL rating have been tested by a UL representative and have met UL's standards for safety. UL certifies building materials used in creating structural fire resistance and in separating adjacent spaces to prevent fire and smoke from spreading.

UL-classified products meet UL standards for safety as well as national and international organization standards. The products feature the UL Classification mark and may have UL's logo on their packaging.

UL has an online search tool that builders may use to find UL certification information for a variety of building materials. Builders can search for materials by product name, master format number or keyword.
