How do you understand camera exposure?

The phrase "camera exposure" refers to how light or dark an image appears once it has been captured by the camera. It also indicates the amount of light a digital camera's sensor captures, which determines whether the picture ends up being washed out or too dark.

The exposure is governed by three camera settings: shutter speed, ISO and aperture. The aperture setting controls the size of the lens and the amount of light that enters the camera. The shutter speed setting controls how long the shutter remains open to allow the light to reach the image sensor, and the ISO setting controls the light sensitivity of the sensor.
