How do you get rid of Bing?

The Bing application can be removed from a Windows computer via the Start menu. However, Bing toolbars or Web browser add-ons generally need to be removed separately.

  1. Open the Start menu

    Click the Start button in the lower left corner of the screen. Find the search box located near the bottom of the menu that pops up.

  2. Open the program list

    Type "appwiz.cpl" in the Search box and hit Enter to bring up a list of programs installed on the computer. Locate Bing in the list.

  3. Uninstall Bing

    Right click on Bing and choose "Uninstall". Follow the instructions that appear on the screen to remove the program.
