What is the University of Subway?

The University of Subway is a training website that new employees of Subway restaurants must use prior to beginning work. Training includes how to properly make a Subway sandwich and how to use the register system.

Six courses are required for completion of the University of Subway, including "The Subway Way," "Frontline Food Safety" and "Food Preparation." These courses are designed to train Subway employees uniformly throughout various regions and franchises. New employees log in to the online system, watch training videos and input answers to pass each course. The University of Subway encourages employees to take the skills presented seriously and use them on the job.
