How do you get a urine smell out of clothes?

To get the smell of urine out of clothing, soak the clothing in a nonchlorine bleach solution prior to washing. You need nonchlorine bleach and an enzyme-based detergent.

1. Mix the solution

   Mix 1/4 cup of nonchlorine bleach with 1 gallon of water.

2. Soak the clothing

   Read the labels on the clothing to determine the highest water temperature the clothing can withstand.

4. Prepare the washing machine

   Place the clothes in the washer, and add 1 cup of the detergent and 1 cup of the bleach.

5. Wash the clothing

   Wash the clothing at the highest temperature the material can handle.

6. Dry the clothing

   Hang the clothing to dry, preferably in the sun.
