The Amazon Appstore is not available on the Google Play Store, so users must download it from Amazon.com. To install the application, users must allow installations from unknown sources in the Android settings menu. A limited selection of applications are also available through the Amazon Shopping application. Alternatively, users may browse and download Android applications from the Amazon Appstore using the Web-based version of the Appstore found at Amazon.com.
