How do you use a digital clamp meter?

Clamp the conductor and attach it to a power source, use the AC line separator to prevent a false reading from occurring and then measure the voltage by setting it to the "V" symbol. Once the reading is present, it is on the LCD screen on the device. It is important to note that the user should not attempt to measure anything that is higher than 600 volts.
A digital clamp meter works to measure a wire's current. Unlike the similar multimeter device, there is no need to connect the clamp meter to a circuit to get the proper current readings.
