How do you use downloaded fonts?

To use downloaded fonts, place the unzipped files into the folder on the computer where fonts are stored. In Windows-based computers, this folder is typically located within the Windows folder on the C-drive.

1. Unzip the files

   Downloaded fonts are typically packaged in compressed folders with the file extensions of .zip. This compressed file needs to be opened with a program such as WinZip or WinRar before the fonts can be used.

2. Place files into fonts folder

   Either drag and drop or copy and paste the files associated with the new font into the folder containing installed fonts. The folder is normally located in the Windows folder on the C-drive of Windows-based computers.

3. Restart applications

   In order to use the installed fonts, all applications will need to be restarted. A full restart of the computer may also be necessary.
