What is the use of embalming tools in Skyrim?

Embalming tools cannot be used by the player for any function within Skyrim, a role-playing video game. These items, found within Nordic ruins, serve only as a small source of gold when sold to a merchant.

Embalming tools are just one of many items within Skyrim that have no direct use; others including things such as ruined books, hammers and bellows. Players typically refer to these types of items as vendor trash, and they generally only serve as a modest source of income when sold to merchants. Given that embalming tools only have a base value of two gold and use three units of inventory weight, players generally choose not to loot them and just leave the embalming tools alone.
