How do you use olive oil for your hair?

Use olive oil on your hair as a mask before a shower or as a shine serum after your hair is styled. The antioxidants and vitamins found in olive oil keep hair moisturized and promote growth.

1. Warm up the olive oil

   Measure out enough olive oil to cover your scalp and the length of your hair. Heat the olive oil in the microwave.

2. Apply olive oil to your hair

   Liberally coat your scalp and hair with the olive oil and cover your hair with a towel or cap. Wait 20 to 30 minutes before washing the olive oil out with shampoo.

3. Use olive oil as a shine serum

   After you have styled your hair, apply a few drops of olive oil to any flyaway ends for extra shine.
