How do you use paste?

Paste, an adhesive that is used to stick two objects together, should be applied to one or both objects. The objects are then held together until the paste dries, bonding the objects together.

Paste may be used for crafts, such as papier-mache. When making papier-mache, one starts with a base, such as a balloon. Strips of paper, such as newspaper, are then soaked in paste and applied to the balloon. Layer by layer, the papier-mache is built up to the desired thickness and then left to dry. When the paste dries and hardens, the resulting sculpture is complete and may be painted.
