How do you use the St. Vincent's MyCare patient portal?

MyCare is the online patient portal of St. Vincent's Healthcare of Jacksonville, Florida. Through St. Vincent's MyCare portal, hospital patients, primary care patients and specialty care patients can acquire specific information and pay bills. To access the patient portal for St. Vincent's Healthcare, a patient must log in to the official website, navigate to Patients & Visitors, and select the MyCare Patient Portal from the home page.

When a patient logs in and clicks on the MyCare link, the resulting page has three choices, labeled as Hospital Patients, Primary Care Patients and Specialty Care Patients. If the user clicks any of the links, the website directs him to a page where he can log in with his user ID and password to view digital copies of his lab test results, send a message to or follow up with his physician or nurse, and request appointments with physicians and nurses. Any communication sent through the MyCare portal is confidential and secure, according to St. Vincent's Healthcare. The records for these appointments are also visible in his account, and he can print out copies of records and results.

If he clicks the Primary Patient Care or the Specialty Patient Care links, he can make one-time payments by using the code printed on his patient card, explains St. Vincent's Healthcare.
