What is a vacuum drying oven?

A vacuum drying oven reduces air pressure within the oven to dry substances at lower temperatures, outgas or offgas chemicals, bake out chemicals, and prevent unwanted chemical reactions such as oxidation. Common objects that are vacuum dried are medical devices, satellite hardware, temperature sensitive products, epoxies and essential oils.
Vacuum drying ovens provide many benefits by controlling and reducing air pressure. There is no oxidation process or offgases from dangerous solvents and chemicals. It gently dries substances consistently and vaporizes all moisture that would not evaporate under normal air pressure. Additionally, all fluids that evaporate may be recovered later if needed.
