Knowing the value of a motorcycle before buying or selling can save a buyer money and frustration. Kelley Blue Book offers trusted comprehensive and up-to-date information about the value of many types of vehicles. To determine the value of a used motorcycle, follow the steps below.
- Visit the Kelley Blue Book home page
- Enter a ZIP code
- Choose a category
- Select the year
- Trade-in or sell
Visit the Kelley Blue Book home page at KBB.com and scroll down to the bottom of the page. Click the link that for Motorcycle Values.
Enter a ZIP code to bring up values of a particular location. If outside the United States, use the button for Values Outside the United States.
Select a category from choices such as Dirt, Motocross or Touring. Users may also select a make such as Honda, BMW or Kawasaki.
Choose the motorcycle's year and model.
Select See Trade-In Value to find out what a dealer might offer for a trade-in. Choose See Retail Value to find out the motorcycle's value.
Note that the suggested retail value is based on a bike that is in excellent condition. Motorcycles in less than excellent may be worth less than the listed amount.
