Who do you call at the DMV for questions and answers regarding your CDL?

In most states, DMV customer service call lines and CDL offices handle questions regarding CDL licenses. For example, California provides a statewide toll-free number for CDL appointments and questions as well numbers for CDL-designated offices state wide. States such as Nevada provide regional numbers for CDL questions.
In some states, such as New York, all DMV locations issue CDL permits and handle questions along with the general statewide customer service line. Like many states, the New York DMV advises individuals with questions to look for answers on its website before calling to minimize hold times. In other states, such as Arizona and California, only designated offices handle CDL licensing.
