How do you check the tire pressure on motorcycles?
By Forinfos - 09/10/2025 - 0 comments
Check a motorcycle's tire pressure by first allowing the tires to cool if it has been ridden recently and then inspecting the condition of the tires. Remove the tire stem cap, and attach a tire pressure gauge to the stem long enough for the pressure gauge to produce a measurement.
A number of factors decide the best tire pressure for a motorcycle, including whether passengers are carried and whether the motorcycle is ridden off-road. For street riding, inflate the tires to the manufacturer's recommended pressure but not to maximum capacity. Both over- and under-inflated tires affect the motorcycle's braking and cornering capability, so tire pressure should be checked daily.
