In what position would you find the Dodge throttle sensor?

The Dodge throttle sensor is located on the butterfly value, which regulates gas flow. The sensor is closed when the car starts. Once the vehicle is placed into drive and accelerated, then the throttle opens.
The throttle position sensor measures the angle of the throttle. The fuel injector computer gives the sensor .3 to .9 volts when it is closed, and the sensor increases the voltage when the car accelerates. This increased voltage tells the Powertrain Control Module to inject more fuel. This process allows the car to accelerate smoothly. A malfunctioning throttle sensor triggers the check engine light and results in bad gas mileage and poor acceleration.
