Reviews of Viking pop-up campers tend to be positive, but there are some negative reviews as well. Professional sources such as the Best Travel Trailers Guide praise the Viking pop-up camper for having a good set of features and offering lots of value. However, on RipOffReport.com users say these campers suffer problems such as a soft floor and falling bunks, and report it is difficult to receive customer service from the company.
The online camping information website Camping Life gives Viking pop-up campers a positive review, saying that their “four decades of towable design†are a testament to their “staying power,†and that the company began moving forward aggressively in 2006. This review further explains the positive qualities of Viking campers, such as their compact 12-foot travel size, roomy 17-foot size when deployed, light weight of about 2,100 pounds and fine interior design.
Viking pop-up camper reviews generally praise the interiors of these campers for their double insulated bunks, large dinette tables and booth seats. The Spartan model received a review of being more basic and better for adventure tent camping as it offers no water, gas or galley. The same review praises the S model for its established amenities, and the 2106ST for its L-shaped dinette and lounge, great overall dimensions and ample interior storage.
