Does Verizon Wireless offer an employee discount program other companies can use?

As of 2014, Verizon Wireless has agreements that offer discounts to the employees of many companies and organizations. In addition, all military personnel are eligible for a 15 percent discount on specific plans and special add-on features.

Eligibility is based on the monthly cost of the plan currently in use by the account holder. Most plans that cost more than $34.99 per month are eligible to receive a discount. Additional features to the plan that have a fee of more than $24.99 monthly may also receive a discount. Validation of employment is required. This can be completed by entering a work email address on the Verizon Wireless website's employer discount page.
