Who is the "Victoria" in Victoria's Secret?

Victoria's Secret was created by a man named Roy Raymund in 1977. He created the first stores to resemble Victorian-era boudoirs. The stores themselves were subsequently named after the queen who lent her name to the period: Queen Victoria.
Victoria's Secret was originally created because Raymund was frustrated with the difficulty of trying to find intimate apparel for the ladies in his life. The first store opened in Stanford Shopping Center in Palo Alto, Calif. After several stores had been opened and a mail-order catalog had been created, Limited Brands bought the company from Raymund in 1982 for $1 million.
