What is a video card?
By Forinfos - 25/12/2025 - 0 comments
A video card connects to the motherboard of a computer and generates images that appear on the screen. Without a video card, a computer could not display images.
Video cards connect to the AGP connector slot on the computer's motherboard. In a desktop computer, video cards typically have VGA, S-Video and DVI connectors, although some connectors may vary, depending on the brand. Some computers have an integrated video card located on the motherboard. Users can find out if their video card is integrated by checking the back of the computer where the monitor plugs into the back of the machine. If the plug is located near where the mouse plugs in, it is likely an integrated video card.
