Vintage mixing bowls are bowls that are usually made from ceramic and are anywhere from 100 years to 400 years old or more. These antique bowls are highly sought after by both cooks and collectors. Many popular vintage mixing bowls come from England and the United States.
A great example of a vintage mixing bowl is the unique Yellowware bowl which measured 18 inches across and was mainly pressed into molds that produced horizontal and vertical ridges and basketweaves that offered a better grip. Other vintage mixing bowls were made from light-colored clay, which was common in regions where clay was very plentiful, such as Kentucky and Pennsylvania.
