How do you virtually paint a room?

Benjamin Moore offers customers a way to virtually paint a room by uploading a photo and using a number of different colors to see how the room will look. The site allows up to five different surfaces and users can browse the different color collections.

Take a photo of the room in question before visiting Benjamin Moore.

1. On the website, click "Get Stared With My Photo."

This takes users to the login screen where they will need to log in with their information or create a new account.

2. Create a new room

Once logged in, click "Create New."

3. Name the project

Name the project and select the project type. Enter a project description if desired. Click "Create."

4. Paint your room

On the left-hand side of the screen, click "Paint Your Room Online."

5. Click again on "Get Started With My Photo."

On the next screen, click "Upload Photo." This screen also offers a video tutorial, to help along the way. Note, the photo must be at least 600 by 600 pixels.

6. Select paint colors and paint the room

Here, users can begin to select different colors and virtually paint the room. The image can be saved or erased as often as necessary. Users can look at the names of the different paint colors to make shopping for the right color online or in a store fast and easy.
