Vitamin K can help reduce facial redness, and a vitamin K deficiency is one possible cause of facial redness. It can treat a skin condition known as rosacea; one symptom of this condition is a red face, according to WebMD.
Vitamin K is essential for the blood clotting process. Its name come from the German word "koagulation," which means "blood clotting." There are three types of vitamin K, notes the World's Healthiest Foods: K1, K2 and K3. It exists in vegetables such as broccoli, Brussels sprouts, kale, mustard greens and lettuce. Smaller amounts are also in fish, cereal, eggs and some meats, explains the U.S. National Library of Medicine.
