Some of the most effective voice to text apps include Voice Assistant, Dragon Dictation and Evernote. Each has its advantages and all can help with things such as writing email and sending texts.

Dragon Dictation is the easiest of these three apps because it has only one button and can process documents in 30 languages. It is free for Apple devices.

Voice Assistant uses speech recognition to make it one of the most accurate voice to text programs available. This app makes it easy to post to Facebook and Twitter and sends transcriptions to other sites such as Google Search and YouTube.

Evernote is an Android app that gives users the option of saving voice transcriptions as sound files as well as text files.
