To wash white Converse sneakers, wipe the rubber with a damp cloth, rub stains with soapy water, wash the sneakers with mild detergent, air-dry them, and brighten them with a chalky white shoe cleaner. This 90-minute process requires cloths, soap, water, detergent, shoe cleaner and a washing machine.

1. Wipe the rubber parts

   Dip a soft cloth in warm water, wring it out, and wipe the rubber parts. This removes any surface dirt.

2. Treat stains with soapy water

   Mix warm water with a squirt of mild soap, dip a rag in the solution, and rub it over stained areas. Use additional soap on large, tenacious stains.

3. Wash the shoes
