What do you wear under board shorts?

It is common for nothing to be worn under board shorts although some people choose to wear compression shorts, boxers, speedos, jock straps or underwear under the shorts. Board shorts have even become popular with women. Women often wear bikini bottoms under the shorts for comfort.

Many designs have been manufactured with fly closures and seams that are designed to be comfortable and nonirritating to bare skin. They are lightweight, quick drying and usually made of polyester or nylon.
