William Shakespeare does not have a middle name of record. His birth is not even recorded. The first record of his life is his baptismal record, dated April 26, 1564, in which there is no mention of a middle name.

Because of the date of his baptism, William Shakespeare is believed to have been born sometime around April 20, 1564, to John and Mary Arden Shakespeare. No school records exist. His marriage to Anne Hathaway is recorded as having occurred on Nov. 28, 1582. The couple had three children: a daughter, Susannah, and fraternal twins named Hamnet and Judith. Shakespeare went on to become an actor and a world-famous playwright whose works are still read and performed.
