How are windows resized in Internet Explorer?

To resize windows in Internet Explorer, open a new window in the browser and drag the corners of the window. Hold the Ctrl key, click on the File menu and close the window. Subsequent windows automatically open to the preferred size.

1. Open a new window

   Open a new window in Internet Explorer.

2. Resize the window manually

   Drag the corners of the window, expanding or decreasing it to the preferred size.

3. Click the File menu

   Press and hold down the Ctrl key, and then click the File menu. Close out of the window. The next window opened is automatically resized to the preferred setting.
