How do you reset Internet Explorer?

To reset Internet Explorer, click Tools, then Internet Options. When the Internet Options dialogue box opens, click the Advanced tab, then Reset. Click Reset when the dialogue box displays asking whether you want to reset all Internet Explorer settings, then click Close and OK to complete the reset procedure.

1. Go to Internet options

   From your main Internet Explorer window, click the Tools button, which looks like a cog, then click Internet Options from the drop-down menu.

2. Go to advanced settings

   From the Internet Options dialogue box, click the Advanced tab, then click the Reset button beneath the Reset Internet Explorer Settings section.

3. Confirm resetting Internet Explorer

   Click Reset when the dialogue box appears that asks “Are you sure you want to reset all Internet Explorer Settings?” After Internet Explorer adjusts the settings, click Close, then OK.
