How do you turn off pop-ups on Internet Explorer?

In order to turn on the Pop-up Blocker of Internet Explorer, open the Windows desktop, and click the Internet Explorer icon. Once in Internet Explorer, click the Tools button, and select Internet Options. Open the Privacy tab, and check the Turn on Pop-up Blocker check box.

The Pop-up Blocker feature of Internet Explorer doesn't block pop-ups on intranet websites or trusted websites at the default blocking level. If you want to block all pop-ups, you need to change the pop-up level to high. You can do this by going to the Privacy tab of the Internet Options menu and then click Settings under Pop-up Blocker.
