Wipro wants to create a professional services firm that works with both business and information technology executives to deliver end-to-end solutions for clients, and it plans to do that by carrying out its so-called think, build and operate vision. The vision has won praise.

The information technology, consulting and outsourcing company received the highest scores for its vision in a 2012 Forrester Research report. The report measured the company against 18 criteria that took several elements into consideration elements, such as strategy and market presence. Wipro's think, build and operate model requires integrating business and domain consulting with the company's distributed IT and business process outsourcing capability.
