The wedding at Cana is described in the Gospel of John 2:1-11. Christian tradition holds that it was the birthplace of St. Bartholomew, one of the 12 Apostles, and that it was where Jesus Christ performed his first public miracle. Possible candidates for the location of Cana include the modern Arab villages of Kafr Kanna, Kenet-I-Jalil and Qana in southern Lebanon.
