Where is the First District AME Church located?

The First Episcopal District of the African Methodist Episcopal Church covers churches in New England, New York, New Jersey, Delaware and eastern Pennsylvania, as of 2015. The First District also has an extension in Bermuda.

The First District has several A.M.E. churches in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. One of them is St. Matthew's A.M.E. Church on 215 North 57th Street. The First District also covers many churches in New York City. One of the city's central churches is Mt. Zion on 1765 Madison Avenue in East Harlem. The First District has some churches in the Boston, Massachusetts, area, including Grant A.M.E. Church on 1906 Washington Avenue.
