France has the largest aerospace and nuclear industries of any European country, and it ranks second for agri-food and chemical industries. It is also Europe's third most important country for information and communication technology (ICT) and pharmaceutical sectors.
According to the CIA World Factbook, France is also the most visited country in the entire world, with the third largest overall income from the tourism industry.

France's labor force is divided as follows:

According to the Fortune Global 500 in 2012, 31 of the top 500 companies in the world were French. This figure can be compared with Germany's 29 companies and the United Kingdom's 26 companies.
