What does it mean when you find a dime?
By Forinfos - 24/10/2025 - 0 comments
When you find a dime, it means you are now 10 cents richer. There are no common legends or superstitions about finding dimes like there are with finding pennies heads up.
The United States penny is not worth what it once was; you cannot buy anything with a penny anymore, but dimes are still worth the metal on which they are printed. The first circulated dime minted in America was released in 1796. It featured a draped bust of Lady Liberty on the obverse side and an eagle clutching olive and palm branches on the reverse. Interestingly enough, these first dimes did not even denote their value. A dime dating back to the 18th century is worth several thousand dollars.
