Vomiting can be a sign of the presence of irritants or obstructions in the gastrointestinal tract, the presence of poison, drugs or toxins in the body that stimulate the chemoreceptor trigger zone in the brain or an imbalance in the vestibular system of the puppy, according to PetMD. Vomiting is a common symptom associated with numerous diseases and medical conditions.
Vomiting can indicate the presence of a serious medical condition or disease. Pet owners are advised to seek medical help for their puppy if the vomiting persists past one day. Consider feeding the puppies a bland diet in case they have an upset gastrointestinal tract, and make sure that they are well hydrated.
