Why would you use Affresh in washing machines?

Affresh is used in washing machines to remove odor-causing residue. Cleaning a washing machine with Affresh is generally recommended once a month. If the washing machine has an odor, running three consecutive cleaning cycles with one Affresh tablet per cycle is advised.

Removing all items from the washing machine is the first step in cleaning it with Affresh. One Affresh tablet should then be placed inside the wash tub. A clean washer cycle or a normal wash cycle using hot water should be run. After the cycle is finished, the washing machine should be wiped out to remove any remaining residue.
