What is WWE Monday Night Raw?

WWE Monday Night Raw is a television program that depicts a regular roster of sports entertainers battling it out in a wrestling ring to prove who is most worthy to hold various championship titles. As of 2015, the television program airs in the United States on the USA Network.

The show first aired in early 1993 under the name of WWF Raw. In 2002, Vince McMahon was legally ordered to change the name of the show, and since then, it has been known as WWE Monday Night Raw. In July of 2012, WWE Monday Night Raw aired episode number 1,000.
