The Ford XLT is a mid-range trim package available for a variety of vehicles. Vehicles designated as XLT offer a number of interior and exterior features not included in other, more basic trim packages.
As an example, the Ford F-150 XLT package, compared to the Ford F-150 XL package, costs at least $5,000 more. The XLT package has standard exterior features such as 17-inch machined aluminum wheels with painted accents, chrome bumpers and grille, power side mirrors, fog lamps and tinted rear windows. The XLT interior features an outside temperature display, dome lamps with a map light, color-coordinated carpet and floor mats, steering-wheel-mounted controls and cloth seats.
