What is XOR gate?

XOR gate, also known as an Exclusive OR gate, is a logic gate that performs an exclusive disjunction using one output and two or more inputs on a digital platform. The output of a XOR gate will be false if both the inputs going into it are uniform.

When exactly one input into a dual-input XOR gate is true, the output of the XOR gate will also be true. In cases where there is more than one input, the XOR gate will only generate a true output if an odd number of inputs are true. For any other combination, the output will remain false.
