What are 7th grade math projects?

Seventh grade math projects are practical math assignments for groups of students in grade seven that are intended to help them gain a better grasp of course material. The students jointly participate in math experiences that are relevant to their day-to-day life and have been recently studied in class.

A team may be asked to collect and analyze data to answer a number of questions, such as how many students commute to school by bus or what’s the most common favorite flavor of ice cream. The students record their data and present it using graphs and spreadsheets and calculate statistics to reach conclusions.
