How do you adjust low beam car headlights?

To adjust the low beam headlights of your car, first check your car's manual to find out where the headlight adjusting screws are. Then, park your car in front of a level wall or garage door, and turn on your car's low beam headlights.

On the wall, use masking tape to mark the horizontal and vertical centerlines of your low beam light, as well as the center point of your car. Move your car backward by about 25 feet. Turn the adjusting screws of the low beam headlights to align them to about 2 inches below and to the right of the center lines on the wall.
